You know I love handmade gifts! I think they will be great keepsakes for the family for when she is older. My sister has each of her 4 kids journals (she is a teacher) and we have looked back at them with the kids and it showed how many changes they have experienced each year. Their writing gets better and better, and when they were little, it was drawings for words. So fun. I love the idea of a FABRIC covers.
