I will say that I have experienced what I thought were chest pains a number of times over the years only to realize it was likely connected to a recent workout or other activity.

One time I got a piece of furniture delivered in a box to be assembled. It was very heavy - too heavy to pick up at all, but I was able to "walk it" by moving it side to side on the corners over to the bottom of the stairs - of course, it was something I needed for upstairs.

Then I got the brilliant idea of laying it flat and pushing it up the stairs. Happily, this worked, but because the box was heavy and I had to push it, then catch up with it, rest a few seconds, then push it again, it was quite an effort to get it to the top of my 18 stairs.

I was so proud when I did it - a real "I am woman, hear me roar" kind of a moment. But late that night when I was assailed with chest pains, I thought I was worried as it hurt to take a breath and have my chest move with it. Then I remembered pushing that thing up the stairs and realized that I had totally strained my chest muscles during the process (did I mention it was REALLY heavy). I had pains for 2 days!

Anyway, hopefully your pain was just an exercise twinge and nothing at all to worry about, but having a checkup - especially after years of not having one - is a good idea.denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14873046572246069891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4520412246310459623.post-6480067255141184912012-03-20T08:28:24.695-04:002012-03-20T08:28:24.695-04:00That's quite an impressive list of things you ...That's quite an impressive list of things you got done!
