That's got to count for something! We recently bought a treadmill so we can walk/run every day without giving the weather (or the late night darkness) a second thought.Diandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14570498251611083259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4520412246310459623.post-62056623059844611022012-12-09T21:34:02.185-05:002012-12-09T21:34:02.185-05:00I don't think it is too late for you as you ar...I don't think it is too late for you as you are doing something. I need to be more active and tonight went out to dinner with 5 lady friends who joined a gym together for motivation. I think I may have to join them after the new year. I can't pretend I will do it over the holiday, it is just too busy for me with tons of overtime (which is sapping my strength and spirit..) I may have to look into yoga as Liesl mentioned. Keep going! I know you are a strong and determined woman! It keeps you from mentally getting bored and it works your muscles differently which keeps them from getting bored. As you increase muscle you will increase your metabolism (you will burn more calories at rest). Of course, they are not all soft and easy. They aren't jumping around like crazy, but some of those moves are incredibly challenging. Keep it up!Liesl Garnerhttp://waffle-wednesday.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4520412246310459623.post-29127038727800751192012-12-09T09:31:28.488-05:002012-12-09T09:31:28.488-05:00Weight loss is food related. And if you carry your weight mostly on your torso, it is an insulin related issue. It isn't just how much you eat, it is what you eat too. To take a look, calculate how your calories break down (protein, carbs, healthy fats within total calories). You don't have to track forever, but tracking for a few days usually shows the trend.Vickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05452333714845476967noreply@blogger.com
