On hilly ground, you could also be getting GPS inaccuracies.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02700614225224691712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4520412246310459623.post-61920365577180768542013-07-13T20:12:50.190-04:002013-07-13T20:12:50.190-04:00Is there a high school near you where you could ru...Is there a high school near you where you could run your intervals on a track? I don't think my app is terribly accurate either. I do trust MapMyRun for distance, though. You could measure your route and find an average pace pretty easily.Debbihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17727115174070254910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4520412246310459623.post-60778412883686556702013-07-13T14:31:47.406-04:002013-07-13T14:31:47.406-04:00I would love to try running on flat ground sometim...I would love to try running on flat ground sometime! Also, I want to run somewhere with an exact mileage, so I can calculate it myself. I'm certain the pace function on my app is meaningless. I'm doing 15:40 miles! I know it's POSSIBLE I'm running that slowly, but I'm kind of doubtful. That seems quite glacial, even for me.

In the meantime I'm not worrying about it: my goal right now is just to make it through the 9-week program (I'm at Week 8 Day 2 right now), then I'll train for speed and distance.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4520412246310459623.post-15472116410445727812013-07-13T14:02:54.942-04:002013-07-13T14:02:54.942-04:00No, go ahead and give it to the library. Thanks for the review, though.

Twelve minute miles is great -- that's about where I am now, I think. Remember, your slow pace is someone else's fast pace, so repeat after me, "I will not call myself slow!" (from a recent post of mine).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02700614225224691712noreply@blogger.com
