The Wee Santa Hat
A quick little project you can finish in about the time it takes to watch your favorite holiday movie. Sized for your littlest elves, you can easily upsize the simple stockinette design by increasing the number of stitches you cast on and the depth of the hat before you begin decreasing for the top.

Garter Cuff Beanie
Another quickie, this beanie is sized for children and adults and works up quickly on large needles using a  bulky yarn.

Pretty Comfy Sock
One of the most popular projects on Yahoo's Knitlist, the Pretty Comfy Sock pattern was my first published design. It was designed to be knit using a yarn called Fixation, which was a blend of cotton and spandex. The test socks I made then – in the year 2000 – are still going strong, which is a testament to the durability of the yarn and to how much I enjoy wearing the socks!
