Ding, ding, ding, ding!

Those were the days – 

when I could stand to 

watch Tom Cruise.

Vickie knew the cutline referred to Top Gun, and she swears she didn't look it up. And I believe her.

My former husband and I owned a video shop when Top Gun was released on VHS. (Remember those?) We had speakers mounted in all four corners of the store, and we always had a movie playing. For weeks … and weeks … and weeks it was Top Gun.

I loved the flying parts. I think my husband like the Kelly McGillis parts. Heh.

Okay, time to run. I feel the need for some speed.
