I have this book, in parts & pieces. My grandsons love the "vintage" Golden Books. The pictures and the stories keep their attention so much better than the latest cartoon hero books. Please put me in your yarn stash list. I taught to youngsters this winter to knit for a 4-H project. I hope they will keep it up.
That's so cool that you have the book, too! The pages are deteriorating rapidly, I probably need to protect it somehow, but I love reading it to the grandchildren. Thanks for your comment!
I don't remember reading that book, but I know what you mean about those sentimental favourites being priceless. I have a box of my childhood books that have been hanging onto for me, and I'm so glad they did that.
