My husband helped with this part. Line a cookie sheet with foil, coat with cooking spray and cover with a layer of saltines. |
Bring a cup of butter and a cup of brown sugar to a boil, then cook and stir for 6 to 8 minutes. |
I forgot to try to capture pouring the brown sugar/butter mixture on the saltines. Not sure how I would have done that anyway. Here's the pan in the oven, baking at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes. |
Let the pan cool for a couple minutes, then sprinkle two cups of chocolate chips atop the bubbling toffee. I put mine back in the oven for a minute to hasten the melting of the chocolate procedure. |
Cool in the refrigerator for 20 minutes or so, then gently break into chunks. |
Eat!
After I made this recipe and a batch of fudge but before I made the pizza, I carved out some time to use the elliptical. Wouldn't you know that would be the same time my wi-fi went down? Grrr. I took the Nook with me anyway and just read while I worked out. Ended up doing 40 minutes, after I told myself 30 would be enough. Yay me!

That looks awesome! I've heard about this a few places recently, now that I've got your instructions in my hands I'm going for it!
