You have a Meyer tree too? Cool! My daughter had one in Vermont, in a pot, taken outside for the summer and inside otherwise. And it produced!
I have a mature Meyer lemon, a much smaller one that won't bear fruit for a couple more years, and a key lime tree. I do the same thing your daughter did - outside in the summer, inside the rest of the year.
