September 5 - Here forever

Here forever in a good way: A view of the New River, the third oldest river
in the world, geologically. Taken on my walk in town this morning.

And here forever in a bad way: A McDonald's styrofoam cup, also taken on
my walk in town this morning. (Actually styrofoam decomposes in about 100 years.)
